I know a lot of people are wearing reading glasses nowadays. Especially now that technology is fast developing and most of us are exposed to radiation which we get from watching television and playing computer games and which results to eye problems. In the environment I am currently living in, a few wear reading glasses but almost half are SUPPOSED to be wearing but DON’T want to wear it. Mainly, because they don’t want to look nerdy. So, I researched about this new technology, related to getting rid of reading glasses, called CK or Conductive Keratoplasty. It is a procedure to reduce the need for reading glasses.

There is this procedure called NearVision CK which can reduce or eliminate the need for reading glasses for months at a time. LightTouch NearVision CK eye surgery is a refractive surgery procedure originally developed for hyperopia, but now used primarily as a modified form of monovision and is often an good alternative to custom wavefront Lasik, All-Laser Lasik, PRK, LASEK, or Epi-Lasik. It uses a probe to apply high radiofrequency (RF) energy into corneal tissue, causing it to shrink. This controlled shrinkage will reshape the cornea to change refractive error by changing the curvature of the cornea, making it steeper. Whatever the process is, I’m sure it will pay off since this procedure is the done in a doctor’s office in about 20 minutes. It normally has no pain and vision recovery can be as little as a few hours.
