    Vintage Coloring Effect tutorial

This is a simple tutorial for you. Just follow the rules, alright?

    After:

    1) First, open your picture. Then duplicate it or simply press Ctrl+J.

    2) Click the copy on the Layer Palette. Click on the Filter menu then go to Filter and click on Gaussian blur. Apply on the settings shown on the image below:

    3) Then set the mode to Soft Light.

    4) Create a New Layer (Shift+Ctrl+N). Fill it with #1a0ff5 and set the mode Exclusion and the opacity to 20%.

    5) Go to the Layers menu>>New adjustment Layer>>Curves. Once the Curves pop-up dialog comes out, just click OK. Then apply the setting shown below:

    6) Create a New Layer and fill it with #bfecff. Then set the mode to Soft Light and opacity to 50%.

    7) Add a new adjustment Layer (Step 5) but this time choose Channel Mixer. Then apply the following settings:
Red Channel: red: -30 green: +72 blue: 0 constant: 0
Green Channel: red: +27 green: +80 blue: +2 constant: 0
Blue Channel: red: -52 green: +86 blue: -154 constant: +174

    8) After applying the settings above your image will look like this:

Since it looks awkward, let’s set the mode to Pin Light and the opacity to 25%.

    9) Create a New Layer and fill it with #f900da. Set the mode to Screen and the opacity to 17%. Then your done!
